In football, as in life, the greatest triumphs often hinges on the most unexpected moments. Could this moment in EPL be another thesis for an 11th hour miracle, as buttressed at the verge of the red sea when Israel was saved? Are Arsenal fans hinging on instances in history to tranquilise their uncertainties? As the curtain falls on the 2023/24 English Premier League season, the stage is set for a dramatic finale that could etch itself into the annals of football history.
Manchester City, leading the pack with 88 points, finds itself a mere two points ahead of Arsenal. Both teams are gearing up for their final matches, with Manchester City facing West Ham United and Arsenal clashing with Everton. The scenario is tantalisingly simple yet complex: if West Ham manages to defeat City and Arsenal secures a win against Everton, Arsenal will clinch the EPL title. This possibility raises a burning question for football enthusiasts and pundits alike—can West Ham United gift Arsenal FC the EPL title, or is this just another delusional dimension?
Accordingly, Manchester City has been a dominant force in recent years, boasting a squad brimming with world-class talent and led by the strategic genius of Pep Guardiola. Their season has been a demonstration to consistency and flair, characterised by intricate passing, relentless pressing, and clinical finishing. Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, and Phil Foden have been instrumental in City’s campaign, each contributing significantly to their ascent to the summit of the EPL table.
Again, City’s final challenge comes in the form of West Ham United, a team that has had a rollercoaster of a season. On paper, City is the overwhelming favourite, and many expect them to secure the three points needed to confirm their status as champions. Yet, football is notorious for its unpredictability, and West Ham could very well play the role of the spoiler.
West Ham United, known for their gritty determination and never-say-die attitude, have the potential to disrupt City’s plans. Under the stewardship of David Moyes, West Ham has developed a reputation for being a tenacious and resilient side. Their ability to absorb pressure and strike on the counter makes them a dangerous adversary, particularly against a team like Manchester City, which often pushes high up the pitch.
Players like Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen, and Michail Antonio have been pivotal for the Hammers this season. Lucas’s commanding presence in midfield, Bowen’s creativity, and Antonio’s physical prowess upfront could pose significant challenges for City’s defense. Moreover, West Ham has a history of rising to the occasion against top-tier teams, and the prospect of denying City the title could serve as a powerful motivator.
Arsenal, under Mikel Arteta, have experienced resurgence this season. The Gunners have displayed a brand of football that is both aesthetically pleasing and effective, with a youthful squad that exudes energy and ambition. Bukayo Saka, Martin Ødegaard, and Gabriel Jesus have been standout performers, driving Arsenal to the brink of a potential league triumph.
Furthermore, for Arsenal to lift the trophy, they must overcome Everton—a team fighting to avoid relegation and, therefore, equally desperate for points. While Arsenal will be confident of their chances, they know that their fate is not entirely in their own hands. Their hopes hinge on West Ham pulling off an upset against the reigning champions.
More so, the notion of West Ham defeating Manchester City to hand the title to Arsenal might seem far-fetched to some. City’s formidable home record and the sheer depth of their squad make them a daunting opponent for any team. However, football has a long history of shocking results and last-minute twists. The tension and drama of the final day could lead to unexpected outcomes.
Similarly, from a rational standpoint, City are likely to win, given their form and quality. Yet, dismissing the possibility of a West Ham victory would be premature. Football thrives on its unpredictability, and the pressure of the final day can sometimes lead to surprising results. West Ham, with nothing to lose and a chance to play the spoiler, could seize the moment.
For Arsenal fans, the dream of seeing their team lift the EPL trophy after a near two-decade wait is tantalisingly close. Whether it materializes or not, the anticipation and excitement are palpable. As the clock ticks down to the final whistle, the football world will be watching, wondering if West Ham United can indeed gift Arsenal FC the EPL title or if it remains another delusional dimension.
In the end, whatever the outcome, this season’s climax underscores the magic and drama that make the Premier League one of the most captivating leagues in the world. Whether it is destiny or delusion, the final day promises to be a spectacle that will be remembered for years to come.

At this stage, I want dare say that the English FA holds the final say. West Ham could be Arsenal’s saviour!
In less than 24hrs, a winner will emerge and that winner will be… Hmm God in your mercy, let this 11th hour favour Arsenal!
Thank you, Daniel
The die is cast and City is about to be disappointed. Bettors get ready to lose big!
I hope this London is ready to contain the thrills that will unravel tomorrow.
It’s tight man, but to city, it lose… We’ll see.
I think this is a rhetorical question which need not be answered. What i will say dillusional or not next season Arsenal will find it very difficult to deliver at yhe levels they played at this season. Why because they will be one of the most scutinised clubs during pre season. The result of which will limit their success. Not even a champion league position.
After this season, Arsenal will never be near the top-four position, ever again. It’s a pity, but it’s a fact. Man City, congratulations 👏👏👏
The blues, how market na!!! 😧
I’ll bet West Ham to win or draw… Life is risky, but I’ll play my part to be joyful. The 11th-hour miracle will locate me… Amen
Arsenal all the way 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 👏👏🎉👏
Illusory is the best word to describe us. We are building a castle in the air. As a gunner, I doubt our victory tomorrow. Sad 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Let the English FA decide as usual… I’ll be quiet… Hmm… Bettors like me will lose tomorrow… 😢
Where are the Man U fans? Dead devils… At least Arsenal can be in active competition next season… Champion 💪🏆💪💪💪💪💪
There will be an 11th-hour miracle tomorrow. Arsenal will emerge as the EPL winner. The City juggernaut will collapse. Tottenham foolishly allowed City to win the penultimate game without a fight. I can’t wait to see Tottenham fans weep tomorrow. The world awaits tomorrow. Arsenal will deliver and West Ham will man up!
Congratulations to all the Gunners!
Let the best team win. I see Arsenal emerge as the winner … 11th hour miracle is loading
The City juggernaut isn’t joking! We might see sports politics play tomorrow.
